MIMA is proud to announce the 10th International Conference on the Straits of Malacca (SOM) Maritime Safety, Security, and Environmental Protection: The Straits of Malacca & Best Practices in Addressing Global Interruptions on Maritime Trade
The conference is expected to be a hybrid conference featuring both national and international speakers. As in the past series, MIMA is looking forward to co-hosting the conference with the Ministry of Transport and relevant stakeholders.

This session addresses the crisis and implication of interruption to the supply chain and the urgent need for a response plan to minimise risk. The session discussed compounding obstacles and increasing complexity of port digitalization to the industry, stakeholders, and related businesses. It aims to put forward strategies in response to those challenges. |
