A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Maritime Institute of Malaysia (MIMA) and Spectre MD Sdn. Bhd. (23 February 2023).
The ceremony was graced and signed by YBhg. Dato’ Mohamed Suffian bin Awang, Chairman of MIMA and Encik Sallehuddin Ishak, Chief Executive Officer of Spectre MD Sdn. Bhd. The signing was witnessed by Encik Ahmad Puteh, MIMA Business Development Consultant and Encik Khairul Rizam Othman, Business Development Director of Spectre MD Sdn. Bhd.
Other representatives from Spectre MD Sdn. Bhd. included Encik Meor Saifulizam Meor Ban, Chief Operation Officer, Encik Khairul Rizam Othman, Business Development Director and Encik Mohd Fareez Ramli, Executive Director.
The MOU signing is a significant event for both parties, as it marks the beginning of a new collaboration, aimed to innovate and transform the maritime industry into a technologically-driven and automated industry, specifically to provide a complete solution of digital ID, digital signatures and stamping in the maritime industry, as well as any other areas that the parties may mutually agree upon.
MIMA and Spectre MD Sdn. Bhd. will work together to leverage their respective strengths and expertise to create a meaningful impact.
