INVITATION TO WRITE IN MIMA BULLETIN

 

Contributors are welcome to send their submissions either as individuals, in collaboration, or as a collective.

 

We accept more than one submission from a contributor at a time, but will exercise judgement on the slating of the submission.

 

Each contributor will receive two copies of the MIMA Bulletin at the time of its publication.

 

MIMA publishes a bi-annual Bulletin that features maritime articles for the larger maritime community.

 

The publication aims to disseminate information about the various maritime spheres, such as conventions and laws, the marine environment, security and safety at sea, maritime economics and industries, and anything ocean-related.

 

The MIMA Bulletin is a solid platform for maritime professionals and the academia to discuss matters of the sea. It has a digital format that allows a bigger reach, and it is registered at the Malaysian National Library with the ISSN: 1394-5947.

 

The articles should be submitted according to this standard guide:

 

  1. APA 7th Edition Style for in-text citations and references.
  2. Word count can be 1,000 words and above, but not exceeding 4,000 words, not including references.
  3. Images and figures in the article should be in the highest resolution possible (minimum 100 dpi) and provided in a separate JPEG/PNG file with the submission
  4. Please include your full name, designation, and email in your submissions.
  5. All submissions to the MIMA Bulletin must be an original work of the author and has not published in any third-party publication, whether online or printed.
