The Maritime Institute of Malaysia (MIMA), led by YBhg. Dato’ Mohamed Suffian bin Awang, MIMA Chairman, conducted a courtesy visit to YBrs. Dr. Nor Fuad Abdul Hamid, Deputy Secretary General (Management) of Ministry of Transport (MOT) on 28 December 2023 at the Ministry of Transport, Putrajaya.
Alongside the MIMA chairman, key representatives in this courtesy visit included Assoc. Prof. EUR. ING. Ir. Dr. Syuhaida Ismail, Director of Research (DOR), Puan Nurul Adlina Abd Aziz, Director of Administrative and Finance (DOAF), Ms. Juwita Kumala Robin and Mr. Muhammad Azlan Mohamad Azhar from the Corporate Communications Unit.
Also attended the discussion during the visit were MOT (management) officials; Mr. Stien Van Lutam, Ms. Ruzita Binti Zainal, Mr. Md. Ibrahim Bin Md. Razale and Mr. Jamidi bin Jaluin.
Both parties expressed their shared commitment to future collaborations. This engagement exemplified the significance of dialogue and cooperation between a research institution and the ministry, ultimately contributing to the success of the maritime industry.
