MIMA Research Fellow & Head of the Centre for Straits of Malacca, Cheryl Rita delivered a guest lecture on Blue Economy development in ASEAN, as part of GRIPS’ course on International Economic Negotiations.
Speaking via a hybrid platform, she engaged with 13 participants from Japan’s central ministries and private sector under the Global Leadership Development (GLD) Programme.
The session offered valuable dialogue on regional mechanisms, sustainable cooperation, and forward-looking perspectives for advancing the Blue Economy agenda across ASEAN.
Her capacity as a Visiting Fellow at the Policy Research Institute of the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) underscores MIMA’s priority to support its researchers to soar new heights.
