Participants and stakeholders in discussion during the meeting
The two-hour discussion from MOT, MIMA, and notable stakeholders was indeed impactful – participants had agreed that cabotage policy must be reviewed as well as strengthening the cabotage policy in Malaysia, to protect our local shipping industries and national waters.
MIMA extends its hearty gratitude to the Ministry of Transport Sarawak for the opportunity to participate in this meeting. It provided a platform for stakeholders and participants to gain an understanding of a crucial policy in Malaysia.
