The Centre for Maritime Security & Diplomacy (MSD) of MIMA had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Shoji Tomotaka and Dr. Hasegawa Takeyuki from the National Institute for Defense Studies (NIDS), as well as CDR Ishikawa Kiyoshi, Deputy Defense/Naval Attachè from the Embassy of Japan in Malaysia to MIMA.
The objective of the meeting was to exchange views on the current state of affairs of the South China Sea, Malaysia’s South China Sea policy under the Anwar administration, maritime security cooperation between Malaysia and Japan, as well as Malaysia’s views on the Ukraine Crisis and relations with Russia.
