SUMMARY:MTCP 2023: Adaptation to Sustainability Challenges in Maritime Transports and Logistics Industry: Integration of the UN SDG 9
DESCRIPTION:  The upcoming Maritime Training and Capacity Building Programme (MTCP) will primarily focus on “Adaptation to Sustainability Challenges in Maritime Transports and Logistics Industry: Integration of the UN SDG 9”. The five-day course will concentrate on sustainability challenges in maritime transport and logistics\, related to the National Transport Policy 2019–2030\, which is also integrated with the Industry 4WRD: National Policy on Industry 4.0. Additional topics include issues and challenges in implementing halal port development and the impact of technological changes on seafarers and maritime skilled workers. The training course will conclude with action plans to overcome and adapt to sustainability challenges through discussion and networking\, capitalising on opportunities for the sustainability of the maritime transport and logistics industries. This initiative aims to showcase Malaysia’s strengths as a maritime nation and promote sustainability efforts in the maritime transport and logistics industry led by the Ministry of Transport and the International Maritime Organisation (IMO). The concept aligns with the core objectives of the 2030 SDG 9 Agenda\, which are to build resilient infrastructure\, promote inclusive and sustainable industrialization\, and foster innovation. It is also in line with the Twelfth Malaysia Plan 2021–2025 (12MP)\, which seeks to enhance the efficiency of transport and logistics infrastructure. This training programme provides an opportunity for individuals to actively engage and participate in our Sustainability in Maritime Transports initiative. Don’t miss out on this exceptional chance; submit your application now to secure your place! \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Brochure\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Application Form
