"Towards a Clean and Green Industry"
26 May 2010
The need to address the issue of climate change has become a matter of priority, and players in the maritime sector must stand up and be counted to play their part to reduce carbon emissions.
This point rang loud and clear throughout MIMA's Seminar on Greening the Maritime Sector : Towards a Clean and Green Industry organized by the Centre for Maritime Economics and Industries at MIMA Conference Room on 26 May 2010.
The seminar was attended by 45 participants representing a wide range of companies involved in the maritime sector plus those from the academia, regulatory agencies and industries. The large turnout and wide representation of the audience reflect the strong public interest and rising concern on the issue.
